The 3 Go-To Family Festivals for Summer 2017!

With all that unimportant (wink) Christmas stuff now out of the way, most of us have quickly turned our attention to holidays and more specifically, festival season. The time is almost upon us, with most organisers having released at least part of their lineups and giving festival goers a taste of what’s to come.

Here at LetsLaze™ we’ve compiled a list of our Top 3 Family Festivals to attend this Summer. We’ve looked at atmosphere, value, fun and of course places to laze.

So ready your inflatable air lounger, sit back, relax, and let us take you through your summer itinerary!

1. Camp Bestival

Where: East Lulworth, England.

When: 27-30 July.

How much: Adult weekend £197.50, 13-17 £125, 10-12 £98.75, 5-9 £45, under 4 £15, Babies free (but ticket required).

With a wealth of live acts already announced including the likes of Mark Ronson, Leftfield and Madness, theatre shows such as Andrew Lloyd Webber’s ‘School of Rock’ musical adaptation as well as a wealth of activities and attractions for kids, Camp Bestival rightly sits atop the list of priorities for any family of festival lovers.

2. Green Man

Where: Brecon Beacons, Wales.

When: 17-20 August.

How much: Adult weekend £180, 13-17 £115, 5-12 £20, 0-4 Free (with ticket).

“Settle in, relax, explore”. That’s one of Green Man’s key mottos and with that you can see exactly why we love them!

Set in the stunning Brecon Beacons, surrounded by never-ending forests/waterfalls/rivers, it really is the most magical of settings. With 10 different areas to explore – each more magical than the last, you’d be hard pressed to find a bored punter on site (and that’s without even mentioning the lineup). Oh, and it’s their 15th birthday this year so who knows what special brand of craziness they have planned. Need we say more?

3.  Isle of Wight Festival

Where: Isle of Wight, England.

When: 8-11 June.

How much: Adult weekend £195, 13-17 £145, 12 & under free (must register).

The Isle of Wight festival has long since established itself as a staple of major UK festivals. It isn’t hard to see why, with their list of big name artists in attendance usually only rivalled by Glastonbury or Reading/Leeds, as well as its unique location.

The real trump card for the festival though, is the pricing. This is where families of festival goers have and will continue benefit, with ALL children aged 12 & below receiving free admission. It is something that shouldn’t be sniffed at for parents out there, large families could save £100’s in comparison to the other major festivals out there. It’s a steal!

Of course, there’s far more to find out and explore about these festivals than we could ever do justice in a couple of paragraphs, so go and check them out for yourself. A lot of these festivals have been known to sell out quite quickly though so don’t waste any more time!. Grab your LetsLaze™ inflatable sofa and get going!
